Marisa Christine Medina is a film director and screenwriter living in Rockland County, NY. Originally from Los Angeles, she received her B.A. in Film & Electronic Media from California State Long Beach in 2003 and was a Casting Assistant for feature films in the early 2000s. She was accepted to Columbia's MFA Filmmaking program in 2010. There, she directed four short films, one of which, Fault Lines, received Faculty Honors at the Columbia Film Festival 2014 and had it's world premier at the Austin Film Festival.
